It's actually refreshing to see them in LA. I really missed Tim's huge vocabulary :lol All of the dresses I really liked were scored "in the middle." Eh, I hope Mitchell can pull something amazing next week.

Ah. Loved the premiere. I actually agree with the decision.
As much as I dislike Mitchell, Ari probably wouldn't have given anything other than her weird taste.

And Christopher! His design was pretty much love at the start with his sketch.

and wanted to add that Altheas Design reminded me just a little bcs of choice of fabric and flowers on the gown of Dolce & Gabanna

Qristyl or Althea should have gone home. Althea is so disappointing. Her dress is so eek.

I agreed with the decision to send Ari home (though Qristyl was equally bad). She showed that she REALLY lacked a taste level - neither the shape or her idea were fashionable or attractive in anyway. Mitchell's dress was obviously not red carpet, but it had a certain sense of high fashion that showed promise. (It also looked like TSE's Fall 2009 RTW, though probably unintentional.)

The winning dress was NOT nice. The black top section was good and interesting; the mixture of cute, however, was not. The colour combination did not work and nor did the choice of cut.

I wanted Johnny to win. That cut was a dream.

I agree. It's so cheesy and we've seen it before but prolly they judged it accdg to Lindsay's preference. I don't know. I was confused. It's not really special.
Ramon/Irina should have won.

I like what Shirin did too but the choice of colors is so lackluster.

I was surprised by Malvin. I thought he's gonna be mediocre and a cam whore but he's very natural. :lol

I thought Johnny design was so ugly. I don't know why the judges liked it. If that was on the red carpet, it'd be a fashion disaster. Qristyl dress was just completely horrible and tasteless. Ra'mon dress was okay...had the dress been a different colour and the cut at the bottom of the dress executed better then it would have been a totally gorgeous dress.

Mitchell was heading in the right direction with his dress IMO. He just needed a few tweaks here and there. His dress had a very Angelina Jolie vibe to it. I really liked Ari but I can see why she got eliminated but I can also see someone wearing that at the MTV Music Video Awards. I just think PR is too safe and commercial for her type of designs/creativity. I think Qristyl should have been eliminated IMO.

I like Jonny's too but I kinda don't like the bottom of it because it's like it's not well taylored but the design is fierce. I don't like the redness of the dress though.

My favorites are Ra'mon, Qristyl, and Epperson. And Epperson totally should've won immunity, and should've been in the top three. Out of the top three though, Ra'mon should've, I think Christopher and Johnny did horrible, especially Chris, so undeserving. =|

Qristyl's dress was nice, and I have to say, all the placements this episode were off. Epperson, Althea, and Ra'mon should've been the top three, with Epperson winning. :woo Epperson is fun to say. :woo

As for the models, Tanisha and Vanessa are totally my favorites, both are beautiful, and seem fierce. LMAO @ Ebony falling after being picked to stay. :lol

well carol took a chance i think the detailing was purposefully like that for an edgy effect, i think it made her stand out. i couldn't decide whether i liked it or not at first but in comparison to the other boring, safe dresses her model looked gorgeous in it and i don't think it's only because she's a beautiful girl:D

I watched it again. Epperson's wasn't THAT bad but it's no where near as amazing as people are saying.
Christopher should have made his design more like his sketch with the top fabric coming lower instead of having it completely separated by the ruffles.

Irina and Shirin's designs were my favorite after Christopher's.
