I just started watching the Austin auditions. It's REALLY annoying how they try to make us seem like hicks when Austin is far from that rodeo lifestyle they keep portraying :mad

Holly was pretty bad. She must REALLY improve to make the top 40. She has to control those nerves. John Wayne was my favorite of the auditions. He has a really nice country voice, and a more current sounding one than Scotty's. Casey Abrams basically screamed his entire audition, so I wasn't impressed. He's not marketable either, so what was the big deal about him?

Austin was the worst audition episode so far. Hopefully tonight's is better.

I really liked Hollie! I thought she even sounded good on her first song, but her second song was great. Was I the only one who noticed her weird proportions, tho? Like, her neck was really short and she had weirdly tiny hands and fingers. Idk. :lol It just seemed weird to me and my sister.

Janelle was beautiful! Her accent was so cute and I thought both of her songs sounded excellent. I really wanted her to make the Top 40! : (

I really liked John Wayne, too. He was adorable and I thought he had a great voice. Also, how freakin cute were his parents?! They seemed so sweet.

I also liked Casey Abrams, but I know I'll probably be alone in that. He sort of reminded me of a younger Taylor Hicks. (who was totally my favorite on his season)

Yes, for some odd reason they're showing the last audition round next Wednesday, and then Hollywood Week begins on Thursday. I guess the Las Vegas round threw everything off. Oh well, it's much better than another audition episode!

The L.A. Audition was horrendous. Karen was very very good, and I love Tim's voice, but seriously, are you sure they didn't have anything more than just 3ish good auditions in a city known for its musical talent? :rolleyes

I am so freaking excited for HOLLYWOOD WEEK, and tbh, even San Fran. auditions. They seem to have pimped the episode a bit, and it looks like we will get a lot of good talent (ala Milwaukee). I'm a little disappointed that it looks like instruments will be a rare accompaniment this season. :/

oh @ 50 people going through in Austin if thats the people they showed us. Were they serious with their attempt of a sob story they tried to rip out with the brother (and long lost sister). That went nowhere. And the couple don't match eachother at aaall. The guy has some hansome/cute look to him but the girl is absolutely gorgeous, why is she with him? and he seems annoying. I have a feeling the girl is the BF's beard :ponder

The "couple" were supposedly fake. TMZ reported it.

Seriously, they wasted an entire hour on the LA auditions. We saw Tim, Karen, and like maybe five other people who made it, and the rest were awful, non-funny auditions. They spent like ten freaking minutes on that dumb girl with the microphone. Seriously? And the old guy at the end wasn't funny. The last bad audition that I can remember actually being entertaining and funny was Sgt. Larry's "Pants on the Ground." Yoji Pop was kinda funny too, so maybe him.

Episode 6 is the worst one by far. Only the brothers "Mark and Aaron" are good.
