Branding Vs. High Fashion

What do you guys think of the new branding theme?
*I think they are using it next cycle to because they are replacing Andre with a girl who is an expert at branding, apparently.
So should ANTM stick with branding or go back to its focus on fashion?

Tyra has lost her Marbles with the Branding theme.. It was Modeling and good shoots that gave popularity to this show and Now shes starting a Sh*t idea of branding.. If she has any sense left after writing the Modelland Novel..she should go back to hf cycles .

Anything is better than what they are giving us with cycle 17. The branding concept isn't even branding, it is just the producers being too lazy to try and craft new tv edits for the girls.

I think it is a shame because a branding cycle has real potential but only if it was judged on actual talent and what the girls brought to the table (by themselves).

High fashion wins by default although I think the commercial side of modeling gets a bit underrated. In the early days (like Cycle 3, 4, 6) when the contestants modeled actual producers, the shoots were miles better. But now it is all heavily photoshopped Covergirl/Seventeen cheese since they are the only sponsors that will touch ANTM.

I prefer the high fashion theme, but if I'm not mistaken, Cycle 15 and 16(High Fashion cycles) had really low ratings. Tyra'll probably stick to the branding theme next cycle.

The truth is: this RTV board doesn't represent the general public very well. Most people don't give a rat's ass about HF. They would rather see girls like Laura or Jaclyn.

I love the cheese. And I think it would be great for them to do cycles with a heavy commercial influence. I mean, they could get crap like Mio or something to advertise couldn't they? Every week the photo of the week could be in an ad campaign in like OK magazine.

Anyway I gotta admit I didnt enjoy 15 -16 as much as some of the others.

at the end of the day, its tyra's show. no matter how loud the trolls from australia to hong kong scream, its up to the producers, not the foreign rtv fans. it never ever was about pleasing the whims of the foreign market. tyra already makes money off the more "HF" top model franchises world over. she's laughing her way to the bank while the rest of us kids troll these forums making useless self indulgent polls. real talk.

The truly modelesque girls tend not to be drama queens (Kendal, Jane, Mikaela) and memorable girls tend not to be truly modelesque (Jade, Angelea, Alexandria).

I want to say high fashion... I recently watched Austrailia's next top model and I miss seeing amazing photos. Monty, Liz and even Simone were amazing. I'm so watching the Aussies next season.

i think this may be an unpopular opinion but i voted branding i dont know... the girls on the show have a better chance at it anyways than high fashion but i do admit i miss the amazing high fashion shoots that i used to see on antm instead of these nasty shoots with food :lol
