Though you know I love Kasia if anything more than you do, I think there is a little difference with the Uganda comparison. Modeling is a job that requires you to agree to certain standards where as the Uganda scenario, it's on the basis of the rights that the general population have. Modeling standards aren't law for the general population and they're made knowing that modeling is optional and not all of the general population are required to meet those standards. But that being said, I do agree that the fashion industry should be more open-minded and more importantly, that Kasia was awesome. Not here to bicker or bitch about rankings, just thought I'd raise that point though I do agree with what you're saying overall.

I'm feeling like Monique will be #1. I think out of those 3 girls, she had the best balance between being a strong character and having a look that appeals to you.

I think it's kinda nonsensical dislike contestants just because they overstayed their welcome. It's not their fault that the judges let them stay. I know it's frustating, but still...

Yeah I know, but it's not against them as a person. I mean obviously I don't even know them. It's more like disliking them as a contestant/ reality-tv character. So in the end of the day it's nothing personal, most of the time it's all edited so you can't really say stuff about the person itself. I agree about Kasia being a stealth bitch though.

Also, on Kasia, she has a stunning face, but I always found her personality to seem a little fake. She also took my least favorite shot of the cycle, that over the top crazy hair photo. I did love her pre-show pictures though.

On my Uganda analogy--

1. It was early, I had a plane to catch and it was the first thing that popped to mind

2. The point I was making wasn't in so much about discrimination being fair on unfair as much as it was about blaming the victim. I find that in a very pro-gay setting, using gay rights analogies often help give the arguments more weight to people who really wouldn't think about things in that way otherwise. What I was saying is that outside of this forum, people might in fact blame gays who are killed in Uganda for being "stupid" enough to make the mistake of being open about it, as opposed to saying "wait a second, the way that government behaves is totally outrageous and that should not be a status quo." While infinitely less severe, I felt that in Kasia's situation she was blamed by a lot of people for having the audacity to try and break into a skinny girl's market, and I saw a lot of people saying she should understand that in the modelling world, she's a second class citizen, and she should accept and be okay with second class citizenship. Instead, I was challenging people to look at the standards of the industry and ask themselves who is really at fault.

This was understandable in the kasia text you wrote, i think people took in the wrong way the comparision as the words "gay" and "killed" sound shocking for a comparision and more when most of people in here is gay (including me ;P) but the text itself describes it well, Kasia had the right to feel frustrated not only in that situation when the clothes didnt fitted but in other situations as well, and i think she remained strong, she is very underrated for example her portfolio yeah is not the best but also wasnt the worst and i felt bad when at go sees tyra put less pictures for kasia in comparision to the other girls, i would had been feel bad or frsutrated in her situation

Also she wasnt a bitch, she was just stating her opinions and she didnt did in a mean way, is funny people say oh yeah i dont hate her but she do was a bitch, just as excuse to dislike her, she tried reeally hard in the show and she wanted to do good, she is intelligent and mature, and very cool, besides gorgeous, i wish she went further and her camel pic rocked is very mysterious, like a creature emerging in the dessert, an indian Goddess

all this is IMO, and hope to read more from your descriptions, are very entertaining and makes me want to see again and again the show

Also to the defense of Kasia, I was surprised she wasn't frustrated more often, actually. After all, she entered a competition that would reward the winner with a contract with IMG, which does not have a plus-size division. The sad truth of it all was that she could have never won the competition even if she had been flawless, because I don't think IMG would have changed its format just for one ANTM-girl. I would never have entered a competition I knew I would not win, because I did not fit (pun not intended) the prizes. I think that would hurt like hell.
