She sure is, if she wins she will be the first winner with nearly no haters or people complaining for her win....
I have to admit I didn't like any of the past winners, S1: Nina Flowers, S2: Raven/Jujubee, S3: Manila had to win in my opinion... That doesn't mean I'm right, they just weren't my favorites...

Yeah, it's a possibility. I wonder if she would also have to tone down her shows if she ends up headlining the Absolut tour (HOWEVER, she is likely to be at just about all the dates anyway since she made top 3)...
I think there are more than enough Sharon Needles fans that would cancel out any of that ~negative press~. I feel as though the judges and Ru at this point in time were HUGE fans of Sharon and I wonder if they felt that they had something special and the foresight to see that Sharon had potential to be BIG with the viewers.
lol talk about hyperbole, the backlash was only because she was normalising racial slurs without adding any social commentary. The exaggerations came from those defending Sharon, trying to paint those with criticisms as political correct extremists in an attempt to take the heat off Sharon. All you can do is air those criticisms out in the open and that's it, Sharon can response or she can ignore, but at the end of the day life and pop culture moves on.
Honestly if she wins, there will be a bit of backlash but that has happened every season even if the winner has a big fanbase like Raja did. It always dies down rather quickly once the audience moves onto the next thing on tv and once they lose their platform of tv screentime. The Shangela/Alexis/Stacey/Yara camp complained for a week after Raja's win but after that no-one was fussed.
Since Sharon has a spot on All-Stars, her 15 minutes will continue a little bit longer. It will be interesting to see how she fares when placed up against other fan favourites. I think she's benefitted from a pretty weak top 6 in her season. But with queens like Pandora, Raven, Manila, Ongina, Nina, etc... possibly in the mix it will be interesting to see if her popularity stays at the same level as it has been this season.

Sharon bought a bodysuit from Japan (200+ bucks) and got it in medium... well... sizes in Japan are kind of different, so the bodysuit didn't fit and she had to wear 'angel wings' to cover up the fact that it didn't. LOL.

Except that most people who did react strongly enough to throw bricks at her and do death threats are extremists. When they saw a skinny white gay man saying and doing anything to get attention, they took it seriously.
It's just like the 13 year old kids playing X-Box Live, taunting other people by calling them every most offensive thing they can think of. You can either get incredibly upset and react strongly yet not actually achieve anything out of it, or brush it off as someone who is starved for attention at all costs and let them regret when they'll take a good look at themselves later.
When someone does something for attention, getting angry validates them. And it's the same with Sharon. She wanted to piss people off and boy did she ever! Also, people defended that Sharon wasn't a racist, because actions speak louder than words. She might have said the N-word a few times, but she's never done anything hateful to other people just because they were a different color.
ughh in just a few more days, it will be official that Sharon needles is americas next drag superstar. its not that i hate her, its just that to me its been so obvious since day 1 that she was the winner. and i feel like out of all the past winners, she is the least crafty of the bunch.

no by crafty i mean in terms of "making things" like physically turning a pile of fabric into a dress, not in terms of imagination. because i do appreciate that she is one of the most original thinkers ever to be on the show. But i was just saying if you put Bebe, Tyra, Raja, and sharon in a room with a sewing machine and fabric, sharon would probably come up with a excellent design but not be able to execute it. which isnt a bad thing, im not "Hating sharon" im just saying she doesnt have as much ability as say chad in that area.

haha i love your first sentence "what a dumb thing to say" haha well i am a huge fan of Tyra Sanchez because her drag to me is classic beauty mixed with current style. so to me she is the best winner. im not saying i hate sharon, im just saying shes not perfect. which isnt a bad thing! i dont get why sharon fans get mad when i state a simple fact, and on top of that its a fact that can easily be changed if needed, she can learn how to sew and construct when people cant learn how to not be a bitch.

Not to quote Jiggly or anything but you don't need to know how to sew when you're America's Next Drag Superstar. You don't really come to a nightclub to watch a drag queen sew LOL. Yes, it probably helps but Sharon can get others to help her sew a costume. I believe it's all about presentation and how a queen performs. Sharon won 2 of the design challenges because she can present herself well and she can sell a garment as if she's selling life insurance to a dead person.
Even though she doesn't know how to sew, she has won the two sewing challenges (:D)... So it is a matter of originality, your creation needs a purpose and a history behind, execution is important but is not everything, anyway she has pull it off really well...
And while you state "facts" about Sharon I will give you a few about Tyra: She is immature, rude, she's really bitchy, ghetto and she was clearly protected by Ru... And when Ru gave her the winning in the Wedding episode (which was clearly Raven's win) that saved her ass in the next episode with her crappy Beyonce interpretation of rock, Jujubee would have sent her ass home in that episode if the judges were not protecting her..
Thats...debatable. i think the flaw in your statment is the fact that drag is not as "black and white" as you think. Bebe, Tyra, Raja, and Sharon all posess different things that makes them special and led them to winning thier seasons (though I personally liked manila more than raja) , so its hard to compare them when they are all not the same. to you Sharon may be Superior but to someone else Raja might be superior. The point is to see what makes each of them special and to respect them for it.

Well, the amount of actual sewing challenges has been at an all time minimum this season. maybe im just dumb but i forgot what two sewing challenges she won, what were they? (i honestly dont remember) and what your saying about Tyra is just Plain RUDE. after all the phi phi bashing you do, you sure sound a hell of a lot like her right now. i never attacked sharon for her personality or said she was being unfairly treated by the judges, i just stated my opinion on her sewing abilities

To be fair they all have good things, and I can see talent in all of them, but Sharon is just so damn good at everything and that personality! baby Tyra and old Raja will never have a personality like that, they were disliked at least for 60% of the people..
