We found Anna Sophia (last year?) and the Korean girls did pretty well. What a shame though, after the pause i doubt the show will find as much success.

I can't deny that this is upsetting. Season 7 wasn't that great, sure, but I still enjoyed some of the shoots and the girls. This is my favorite ntm series and it sucks that there won't be a new season until possibly next year (when I graduate and possibly not have time to watch it).

You know what. In a way I'm kind of glad there isn't going to be a season this year because after the ****fest that was cycle 7, I think we all need a break tbh. Plus I don't think I could handle another season with Coco still around.
^Unless she gets banned or Montana drops off the face of the earth, I don't think coco is going anywhere unfortunately.

ausntm is the best in finding models but the WORST in drama/etc.. it's actually quite boring sometimes, i just get interested in the photoshoots

They are 16 year old girls, 16 is the age where models start out in the industry, not 26. The australian culture doesnt care about drama, young people watching it are young teenage girls who take an interest in fashion. You can see this is different from ANTM where the girls on the show dont even know how to dress AUS culture is very fashion based with its teenagers, how they dress in Australia is different to the U.S who dont even know how to dress. What client is going to want to book a ghetto girl who starts catfights and bitches??? NO ONE thats the reality of the industry and why AUSNTM is so successful. And saying all the winners look the same? The blank canvas/beautiful look is in and thats what fashion respects what it doesnt respect is old, weird, "fiercly real" girls, thats what upsets the industry.
It is tue though. Without drama shows get boring. And sadly last cycle had about zero drama... -.-

I honestly don't care for drama or anything when it comes to fashion/modeling shows. I think the problem with last cycle was that there was barely any in-house interaction shown between the girls. Only thing I can really remember is the tiff between Simone and Neo, Sarah bringing in the girl's friends/sisters for a sleeping party, and Liz/Monty/Simone hanging out in Dubai (which was the BEST episode because it didn't follow a tired production formula).
I don't think C7 was boring because there was "no drama", I think it was boring because we didn't really get to know the dynamics of the house or the friendships/rivalries between the girls.

That was YEARS ago, our culture here right now is very fashion/indie based come to Australia boys and girls here dress very well and is very influenced by music festivals (Groovin the moo, big day out, parklife. etc) and radio (Triple J) and also BIG BIG indie store departments like General Pants Co, look at girls from cycle 6-7, fashion in Australia has changed, every teenager here dresses good.
