Week 02
makeovers ; "the girl who goes from frog to princess"


ALAINA - Your short hair clearly shows off your signature "rocker-style", but it
doesn't scream model. We have decided to slightly darken your hair and lengthen it.

BAYLI - Though your long blonde hair may be what's normal in your California
hometown, not all models pull it off. We decided to chop off your hair to a short length
and then dye it an auburn colour to bring out the shape and colour of your face.

CARLY - You were definitely one that worried us, so we decided to give you extensions,
but we're not going to keep the orange colour you have. We dyed it strawberry-
blonde and then dip dyed it in pink. But then you looked like, I don't know,
a bright pink balloon, so we shaved one side and died it black.

CLARA - The blonde hair doesn't quite make sense with your face shape, so we're
going to straighten your hair and dye it a light brown to bring out your eyes.

ELEANOR - Your hair actually works well with you and you could be a model,
but we just are going to push you over the model-edge by dying it darker and straightening it.

ESMERELDA - The tan skin, black hair combo only works on a few girls, and it only
works some of the time for you. We thought the best option for you was to dye
your hair a dirty blonde because it brings out your eyes.

FROGGULA - Finally you're getting a makeover. Your green hair is nowhere
near modelesque, at all. We debated long and hard with what to give you
but we finally decided on a light blonde to enhance your rosy skin.

JASMINE - Your pink hair is not model at all. We decided to give you a black
do, but then I decided a dark red could be a risky beauty, and it definitely paid off.

KAYLIN - The half-shaved head is edgy as is, but your edgy face needs a short do,
so we're chopping off all your hair to boy-short and dying it a yellow-orange.

KRISTEN - You work well with blonde and brown hair, so we decided to give
you both - dip dyed between the two.

LQUANALA - Your face is so unique, but your hair is so ghetto. We decided to
give you a long, dark brown weave so you can show off your amazonesque beauty.

PARISE - No. Your hair is just as simple as that. No. It doesn't show you
as a model at all, but your pale skin would be so beautiful if you had a different colour.
We dyed it fire engine red, but kept it the same length.

SAMMI - Your entire look is blah, blah, blah, ew, ew ew. You need to get that
spray tan washed out, so we're sending you through a wash until it gets cleaned
out and off. Then we're going to dye your hair a SirBitterBlonde to bring out the
model in you.

and last but not least, TAJEL - Your look is so commercial, but so beautiful at the
same time. We could go any way with you and it would look amazing on you, but
we finally decided on a light blonde to contrast your skin and enhance your look.

This week you guys got your makeovers, and I must say that you all actually look like
models, rather than pretty-pedestrians. This week your photoshoot was taking
your makeover shots in pairs. This challenged your ability to work with a partner,
but still stand out. Now let's get on to judging. First up is JASMINE & ALAINA.



Octavia: As a group, you two sucked. There was barely any interaction, and you know I love it when girls interact. Individually, Jasmine was a complete flop. Where are your forearms girl? Alaina, you look amazing here but you shouldn't have let Jankmine stand in front of you
Bri: You guys did blah. Neither one of you is standing out and you're both kind of just fading into the background. It's more interesting than both of you here. Jasmine, you look amazing but your pose is blah and your face is blah-er. Alaina...you're just there.
Paris: There is a bit of a disconnect between the two of you. Jasmine you look a bit generic and this pose doesn't show off your figure correctly. Alaina, I love your abnormal pose. I think Alaina wins this one for me.
LenseTarget: I think you should of talked to each other to get a much better group photo. Jasmine, nice, much better then last week, but Alaina, your arms are throwing me off, and it takes away from the photo. There's no box there gurl. Other than that, it's good. You did better last week though.

BAYLI & KAYLIN

Octavia: It's getting a little hotter... but again you girls are total prudes. Kaylin, you are hot here. Your hair is hot and so is your pose. Bayli, you just look meek. And that's not cute.
Bri: I adore this shot. Your two poses interact very well because you're leaning in opposite directions. Bayli, you look like you're bored and uninterested, which makes me question if you want to be here. Kaylin, you look smokin'. Your face is edgy and your pose is editorial. Great job.
Paris: This is a hard one cause you are working so well together. I think Kristen looks edgier, but Bayli is doing a better job overall. Great job both of you.
LenseTarget: Alone, those poses would of looked terrible, but the fact is, you're together, and somehow it works. Bayli, this shot makes it look like you lost your arm somehow. First amputee on the show? And Kristen, same problem as Bayli, it looks like you're missing an arm. Your hip looks awkward too.

ELEANOR & CLARA

Octavia: You girls were actually creative... what the ****. Anyway, Carla is the stronger of the two, but Eleanor was okay as well. It's a shame that neither of you can smize.
Bri: Wow! You girls really brought it this week. Clara, your makeover really helped you push through your blah-stage to prove that you can model. Eleanor, you did a great job too, but Clara is really a star in this shot.
Paris: Another great duo working well together. Eleanor you look adorable here, but Carla looks amazing. It would be hard to outshine her but you definitely keep up.
LenseTarget: You guys worked amazing together, and this photo is what came out of it. Eleanor, your bra is fine, you can let down that arm, but the pose is beautiful. Clara, 5000x better than last week - this is wonderful.

ESME & TAJEL

Octavia: This photo collectively is a hot mess. Well actually... it's not that hot. So it's really just a mess... not at all cohesive.Tajel, I love your new look. Meet me later after panel so that we can discuss your future. Esme, your pose was weak but your eyes are smoldering.
Bri: This is . . . hmmmm. Both of your new looks are amazing, but together this photo is not that good. Your poses are boring and your faces are okay, but that's it.
Paris: This is kind of a boring one. Esme, your pose really confuses me. Tajel you look kind of boring, but you definitely own this image.
LenseTarget: While one part of working together is working well together, another is making sure one partner doesn't outshine the other. Esme, it looks like you're ice skating but it works somehow. Tajel, compared to Esme, you look boring.

SAMMI & FROGGULA

Octavia: .... I see. Um, Sammi... you have no neck and actually look MORE like a frog than Froggula in this photo. Froggula, you look short but having blonde hair instead of green hair is a big improvement.
Bri: Octavia really hit this photo nail on the head.
Paris: Again there's a disconnect between the two of you but you both look fantastic. Froggula you look so sweet here, where as Sammi looks so powerful.
LenseTarget: Like Esme and Tajel, you need to work on being equal and not one completely outshining the other, because Sammi, I think Froggula is outshining you. You could have done much better than this. Froggula - the pose is wonderful and it's changed my mind about you completely.

ZOMBARLY & KRISTEN

Octavia: What the ****? Carly, you ACTUALLY look like a zombie now. That is so... weirdly epic. Kristen, you went from boring and irrelevant to slightly interesting. Keep up the good work.
Bri: This shot is good, and boring at the same time. Kristen you're smizing but the pose is boring. Zombarly you're owning this shot with your face and your pose is so strong. Both of you guys did a great job this week.
Paris: Zombarly you look great here. Kristen, you are really bringing this image down for me.
LenseTarget: You guys were probably the best pair this week teamwork-wise, but I just think you forgot to give your photo the "X" factor. LQUANALA & PARISE

Octavia: Parise, you are OWNING this shot. You look amazing. Lquanala... I have never in my life been so disappointed in a black diva. Girl you just stood there in the background and let this commercial-ass ginger steal your spotlight. This is completely unacceptable.
Bri: While both of your looks are now completely amazing, this shot is kind of boring on Lquanala's end. Parise you look absolutely amazing and your new look really gave you confidence. Great job this week you two, but you really need to step it up Lquanala.
Paris: Parise you look so cute and sweet. Lquanala you look like you're plotting to murder Parise. I really don't like it. It scares the heck out of me.
LenseTarget: Parise's pose was wonderful, and Lquanala, I just feel like you let her down. Lou didn't fix your problem from last week, we know you're a good model, but you keep blending in to the background. Parise, you have a wonderful pose, however it just doesn't work with your partner's at all.

Sorry guys for the huge lapse in updates. I have all but three shots done for the upcoming week. Prom has been so hectic I haven't had a chance to do anything. I should be able to finish up the shots and send them to the judges in the upcoming week.

Bri's Next Top Model ; Week 03

Just before judging...

Froggula: Guys...I don't know how I feel about this whole competition thing. I'm not doing the best. Maybe I should just leave...

Clara: You can't do that! If you don't succeed at first, try, try, try again! Didn't you ever hear that saying?

Froggula: My parents barely ever spoke English.

Parise: Well...what did they speak?

Froggula: Ribbitese

Clara: I've never heard of that before! That sounds so interesting!

Parise in Confessional: Froggula must come from a really exotic background because her parents speak Ribbitese. That must be some, like, super exotic and native language. SOOO COOOL!

Jasmine in Confessional: Not trying to be a b*tch or anything, 'cause I'm not, but some of the girls here are too gullible. Frogglua got Parise and Clara to believe in some language called Ribbetese...like common girls.

Tajel in Confessional: It bothers me that some girls don't really want to be here. I'll just let them do whatever though, as long as they keep clean.

BAYLI (as an innocent bystander on Crystal Lake)

Octavia: Your face is very nice. By "nice", I mean comically boring and completely ineffective for the shot. Your pose, however, is awful. By "awful", I mean wicked fierce. What... is it that unclear what I mean?
Bri: You did okay...I guess. Not amazing, not horrible. Just okay.
Calista: I think this is pretty weak to be honest. You are just sitting there looking at the camera like its a school picture. You need emotion in your eyes and give the viewers more to look at with an interesting pose.
Shattered (LenseTarget): -
Sydney: I really like this, Bayli! Your pose is great and you look sort of innocent but there's an eerieness in the photo that really draws you in.




CLARA (as a covenant witch dealing harm to others)

Octavia: This shot is hilarious, because your eyes are so cute and commercial and you are supposed to be a diabolical witch. However, you do have the naughty schoolgirl look down. Not that I would know anything about that.
Bri: You definitely look like a witch in this shot, and I see a secret evil in your eyes - good, but not pushing enough.
Calista: This is nice. You look fun and young and a little bit bewitching. Push a little more next time.

Sydney: Not one of my favorites this week. You can do so much better, Clara! This is just pretty bland overall. I don't have much to say because I'm uninspired.




ELEANOR (as Jigsaw's puppet)

Octavia: I have good news and bad news. You look like a puppet.
Bri: This is very good, in my opinion! I love your look-even if your eyes are blacked out. Your pose is puppet-ish but it's also modelesque at the same time. Great job!
Calista: Oh this is pretty interesting. I do like it regardless of not seeing your eyes. It might be the styling though.

Octavia: Well to be honest, you don't look that ready to attack anyone since you're just lounging on the ground. But you do have the demented zombie look down pat.
Bri: You did a great job making yourself look like a zombie with a demented look. I would've liked a more raging pose, but it's good nonetheless.Calista: Girl yes! This is gorgeous. You are a sexy zombie. I really enjoy this.

Octavia: This photograph is truly inspirational. I have never in my life seen a girl who looks like a swamp monster even out of makeup. But is the world of fashion ready for Froggula?
Bri: Fantastic job of looking like a model and a swamp monster at the same time. Great job!
Calista: This would have been fierce if you had a neck, but you don't so its actually not a good photo.

Octavia: At first, I thought this photograph was really bland and boring. Upon closer inspection, I realized that your face was ugly.

Calista: You look like a snob who is smelling something gross. You should look terrified or crazy.

Octavia: You are just stomping all over the competition. You honestly look like a fierce butch lesbian demon... that is so hot, I can't even right now.
Bri: WOW! This is great Kaylin.
Calista: Good picture. The styling is gorgeous and your face is so on point.

Octavia: Ironically, neither of you is looking at the camera.
Bri: Boring, which is ironic because you are so beautiful.

Sydney: The styling and everything is all there, but honestly, you were just outclassed this week. You don't look creepy enough and your movie was one of the perfect ones to be creepy.

Octavia: This is amazing, Laquawndra! You look so beautiful despite the grisly styling!

Calista: WOW!!! This is amazing. You have such a creepy scary freddy look on your face. Did you study him before this shot?? I'm impressed.

Octavia: Your hand is so... fat. I love the expression though.
Bri: Not as good as last week but not utterly and completely awful as your first week.
Calista: This is strange, im distracted by the mask because you are just standing there. You are letting the mask outshine you.
Sydney: Idk, I wish I could see more of your face in this so that I could give it a more accurate critique. I'll put you near the middle and hopefully you survive.

Octavia: This is hot and also creepy. My favorite of the week!
Bri: Sassy and demonic at the same time. You look A-MAZING this week Sammi. YOu have completely and utterly demolished your competition this week.
Calista: You are a gorgeous girl. I like how the picture is a little sassy like a nurse but in your eyes I see an evil sparkle.
Sydney: Love this one! So hard to believe a sweetie like you looks so... evil great shot!




TAJEL (as the girl who kills to win Prom Queen)

Octavia: Tajel, I love the intensity in your eyes! The pose, however? That's a little bland. Be sure to bring your all in the full photo, not just part of it!
Bri: You look great Tajel. There's an intensity in your eyes and your pose is strong and demanding at the same time.
Calista: This is pretty good. I like the pose but I wish the face was giving a bit more.
Sydney: Best photo of the week by far. You are amazing, this photo is fantastic!




ZOMBARLY (as the girl who can see all evil)

Octavia: For being named Zombarly, your photo this week is surprisingly boring. This should be so easy for you!
Bri: Amazing and so hauntingly beautiful!
Calista: This is great!!! The eyes are creepy, the blood is creepy, your hair looks wicked and that body looks wicked!
Sydney: This shoot was right up your alley, and unfortunately you didn't deliver as much as some other girls. Not bad, but not the best.

your skills, work on your posing, and push further.

and Jasmine, like Bayli, you haven't done the best all season long, but there is no
denying you have a very strong, edgy look. It has a uniqueness to it that draws
the viewer in and you bring a certain quality to your photos, but you don't always
hit the nail on the head.
