ANTM is seriously in its way to be axed. They even took the first step by firing those three characters that were basically part of the show since its beginning. Good riddance nonetheless. The fun that was C1-C6 sadly evaporated ages ago and I'm fairly sure it will never come back.

I don't think they'd make big cast changes like this on the last cycle... This to me kind of means that they'll be around for much longer.
I have a feeling that one day, Tyra won't be on the show anymore, and the host will be Kelly: don't know why, but reading that the Jays and Nigel were axed, made me feel that. I'm sad, i grew up watching Top Model. I didn't care if the cycles were amazing or a completely hot mess, I still watched the show. It's a big part of my life, and probably one of the few TV shows that helped me forgetting some problems in my life, and being entertained. It's pretty obvius that it is coming to an end, and I'm so sad, but I will always remember Top Model as an adventure that made me love the fashion industry and becoming a model.
If Tyra was smart she would have changed the format, especially for all stars, to be similar to MMAS US 1. The public got the vote the girls out, she says she's all about what the fans think but she clearly keeps certain girls, such as Seymone this cycle, around to piss off fans.
I am pretty excited too, now hopefully the photo shoots will be better.

Hopefully if Cycle 20 is the last cycle. Hopefully she does an online voting on which girls they would like to see make it in. Forget about who will make great television or who will be the next failed singer. Tyra needs to actually leave with a bang and go back to the normal ANTM status, normal prizes and normal judging room (a simple room would be lovely, those huge sets are just so stupid!) and normal judges and photoshoots. And actually get a normal winner. If anything I would love to see these girls make it in

This is shocking, to say the least. Nigel I understand since I don't even know any casual viewers who like him. Even back in my senior year of high school when C5 and C6 aired I didn't know anyone who liked him. But the Jays are like the heart and soul of the show even if their roles are significantly smaller now compared to the glory days of ANTM.
But I'm still kind of interested to see what Tyra and Kelly will pull out of their hats. I doubt this will be some major comeback that is suddenly taken seriously. The show is on its last legs and this seem to just be some attempt to buy time just so they can possibly round it out for the 20 cycles/10 year mark. But seeing a revamped crew does kind of perk my interest a little bit.
I'd rather Kelly and Tyra were booted!
The show just barely got a season 19 anyway because every show on CW bar Vampire Diaries underperforms.
Remember when they used to renew it two cycles at a time? I'm pretty certain that cycle 19 will be the last unless they make a miraculous recovery in the ratings.
