Episode 2 Photoshoot: Balancing on Ladders

I don't get the hate for this shoot, I think the results were pretty good all-round.

Jill, Tara and Heather had the best shot's IMO (still don't get how Jill was eliminated here).

Nikita's is good too, she looks like a different person altogether. Maryam's would of been great if she had pushed that dude out of the way . Meaghans is OK, very stiff in the mouth but I can understand that since she was so conscientious of her braces.

I don't get why the judges fawned over Ebonie's, it's pretty horrid IMO. Linsay's looks more like a candid than an actual photo. I think Rebeccah could of done better but she didn't deserve bottom 2.

I think Heather's is one of the best shots this Cycle. There is something about it that just draws me in. The girl knows how to work her eyes and they are so fierce.

Anyways, I think that the best ones were Meaghan, Jill and Heather. I never really understood what was so great about Nikita's. I thought that the girls were supposed to be balancing on the ladders, but Nikita was just standing on it.

IA! I originally said Nikita's was the best in the Top 3 thread but looking back, she isn't doing what the brief asked and quite frankly if you took away her stunning cheekbones it would seriously looks like an old Japaneses woman. Alright, maybe that's to do with the styling, make-up and lighting but it really doesn't help her at all.

Meaghan's looks so editorial, like a mannequin. But I love it. I think I've seen something similar before on herfamedgoodlooks or something, because I'm actually starting to believe I've seen it somewhere before.

lol, it's not literally put your weight on one side and balance . The balancing part comes from wearing the high heels while on a ladder. I'm sure people don't normally climb ladders with heels on so there must be plenty of balance not to fall over

But yeah, the problem I had with her's and a couple of others, was that it was them just standing on heels on the ladder whilst touching the male model. It doesn't take away from any of their shots, but I prefer the others that went that extra mile and made it quirky and balanced or looked as if they were falling off the ladder, rather than just standing there. But I do have to say, regardless, everyone did fantastically in this photoshoot.
