Team Ex-CIA

They met as CIA interns, but will their top-secret skills give the Ex-CIA team an edge? Jacob, Mark and Todd are brilliant, but also know how to have a good time and used to share a ?party house.?

Computer whiz Todd is definitely the confident ringleader among the trio. Mild-mannered, opinionated Jacob is doing the Hunt for his 80-year-old parents and his nine older siblings. Mark is the self-described mediator between his outspoken teammates.

Strengths: Logic, creativity, wit.

Weaknesses: Lack of focus, difference of opinions.

Fun Fact: Todd hates being poked in the bellybutton.

Age: 33

Fave Movies: Life of Brian, Cool Hand Luke
Fave Book: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Hobbies: Skiing, motorcycle riding, football, tennis

Jacob first met his teammates when they were all working as CIA interns (a fantastic opportunity every college student should shoot for)! Originally from Talladega, Alabama, Jacob is the youngest of ten children and says that he is on the show for his 80-plus-year-old parents, and his 20-year-old nephew, James, who has been battling cancer since he was 17. Jacob graduated from the University of Alabama as the world's biggest Alabama football fan (ROLL TIDE!) but he also picked up an electrical engineering degree while he was there. In his career he has worked for NASA, the CIA, and XM Radio, but he is also a successful entrepreneur, founding companies in government consulting, board game design (with Mark), and event promotion. Besides football, Jacob enjoys traveling the world, playing tennis and strategy games, laughing it up with his friends and family, and spending time with his girlfriend, Donna. His life goals are to conquer the world, cure cancer, and to figure out women.

Age: 35
Occupation: Financial Analyst
Fave TV Show: BBC World News
Fave Movies: The Bourne Supremacy
Fave Book: The Sun Also Rises
Hobbies: Scuba diving, skiing, running, hiking

Mark was born in New Orleans (The Big Easy), Louisiana on January 9, 1970. Mark has a BS degree in electrical engineering (93?) from Louisiana State University and a Masters om Business Administration (01?) from Tulane University. He has worked in the mobile telecommunications industry for eight years, both as a RF network design engineer and financial analyst. Prior to working in the telecommunications arena, Mark worked for the CIA and the U.S. State Department. While at the State Department Mark had the privilege of traveling through Africa and Europe as part of a team providing satellite communications services to our embassies abroad. Recently, Mark and his family moved to Pensacola, Florida to enjoy life along the Gulf Coast. Mark enjoys fishing, sailing, scuba diving, and spear fishing. Pensacola is a wonderful location for Mark and his family to pursue these activities.

Like most New Orleanians, Mark is quite comfortable in the kitchen cooking seafood such as alligator, crabs, crawfish, and shrimp. He also has a certificate in "mixology" (bartending). Louisiana?s notoriety as a ?Sportsman?s Paradise? has definitely influenced him. From an early age Mark has enjoyed communing with nature. During his childhood he once ate a raw crawfish and used to enjoy swimming with his aunt Aline?s pet alligator ?Alli?. Mark is a free thinker who craves adventure, foreign travel, and college football. He dreams of sailing the globe with his wife and any friends that dare partake in the journey.

Age: 32
Occupation: Software Architect
Fave TV Show: Project Greenlight
Fave Movies: Pi
Fave Book: Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Hobbies: Playing guitar, snow skiing, scuba diving, motorcycle riding

Todd is a self-professed computer geek who bonded with his teammates during an internship with the CIA. Todd graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in computer science and now works as the chief software architect of a cyber-forensics product. He has one patented invention and one pending in the field of network security. For fun, he works on creating systems that predict and trade the stock market. Even though Todd can spend numerous hours in front of a computer, he is no stranger to public speaking engagements. He once presented research at DEFCON, a major hacker convention, and was a technology host for a public broadcast show where he discussed the latest in technology trends.

Todd likes to devote all his energy to the new and challenging, and quickly becomes bored with things he has already done. This has driven him to have numerous hobbies and accomplishments. He is laid back and easygoing unless in the company of people who take themselves too seriously, in which case he will attack with humor, quick wit, and sarcasm.

Todd is world traveled and has been on safari in Africa, scuba dived the Red Sea, skied the Italian Alps, and rode camels through Middle Eastern deserts. He once watched the Super Bowl at 4 a.m. outside a small village in Uganda. Todd cites his team's problem solving skills and ability to analyze situations their greatest strength.

These guys look so boring. They're one of those teams that'll schedule something to be done and actually do it. Why people do that is a complete mystery. :shrug

Wow, when I saw the name of the team, I thought these are older guys who worked for the CIA. They should know how to read clues. Then I find out the three are basically young and were CIA interns and none of them continued a career with the CIA! I wonder why??

LOL!! This will not be one of my picks to win this game.

I thought these guys were going to be like the dad in Meet the Fockers... But these guys are young, nothing like I expected!

Two of them both love the book Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy... maybe they met in a chat room!

I dont think this team will do that badly... but you better watch out, the team might be out early if we poke Todd in the belly button! :rofl (How did they find that out?! lmao *remenisses to time in sunny backyard when jumping through sprinkler*)

Sorry to double post, but none of you are damn well posting :lol

This is my other favorite team! I really like their personalities and their thought-process!!

They said themselves that they may not be the most physically strong, but their brains will make up for it...

I am still interested to find out exactly WHAT they did in the CIA! :lol... Also, WHAT they did to become "Ex-CIA"... ahhh a real mystery :p
