Top Model Host:You all have a lot of great questions for Sara, so let's get begin! Thanks for being here today. Are you ready to take some questions?
Sara: Yes, I am. Give it to me! [laughs]

Amy_3: Sara, I thought you would be in the final two, if not the winner! Last night was a shocker. Why do you think you got voted out?
Sara: Oh my goodness, thank you so much. You know, it was down to the final six, and every single girl had her own unique look and personality. I know it was hard for the judges, but they were kind of throwing the sexy card in my face constantly, and I have a feeling that was one of the reasons I was eliminated. But thank you for thinking I was going to win, that was really sweet of you.

Annyka: Did you think that you would have been voted off last night?
Sara: No, I didn't, and yes I did. No, because nobody wanted to be voted off. You want to make it as far as you can, and at number six you can taste it. When you're up there with Yoanna, and you know the judges like her, you kind of get a gut feeling that it's time to go.

Vianca: What have you been doing since leaving the show?
Sara: A lot of down time. The models can't pursue any contracts until the end of the show. Basically doing odd jobs, going back to my normal life. Once the show is over and winner announced I will be able to pursue more opportunity ... Sports Illustrated!

VuittonGirl: Sara, I didn't think you would be the one to go last night. Aren't you glad though that there isn't a Simon Cowell type judge judging the competition? And what type of lip-glosses did you wear on the show?
Sara: Yeah, the closest thing to a Simon Cowell judge is Janice, and she's not as brutal. The type of lip-gloss I was wearing ... I have no idea! I'd have to ask Jay Manuel what it was. But I do love my lip-gloss.

RONRON22: My question is how did your dad handle you doing the show? Was he mad?
Sara: My father and I don't have good communication right now, mainly because of the show. I realized it was cultural, or my father's opinion, and I'm not upset at him for that.

shady_luvin: What is your background? Persian and what else?
Sara: My background is Persian/Iranian, and the other half is ... You know I don't know. My mother is Caucasian. I have no idea what else I am.

darkcandy13: Now that you don't have the show to bring you to the top, how do you plan to reach success?
Sara: Being on the show brought me to the top in its own right. Just because I didn't make it to number one doesn't mean it wasn't a huge stepping stone for me. I plan to take this all the way and continue modeling.

steel: What was your opinion about Catie and her sensitivity?
Sara: I love Catie, she's a sweetheart. You had to be there, it was a very intense, stressful, stressful situation. It got the best of her sometimes, and I don't fault her for that. We all have our moments.

shabecky: how is your knee?
Sara: Thank you for asking. It's fine, I've had a torn ACL and meniscus and three knee operations on it. It's better now; I think with the stress and amount of dancing I was doing it got the best of me.

Jai: Sara, I hope your knee is better. I was wondering, what were your best and worst experiences on the show?
Sara: Thank you, my knee is better. My best experience ... there are so many. Just making the show is a great experience. Seeing my mom walk through the elevator doors and meeting all the fabulous people in the fashion industry are among the best. My worst experience was getting voted off. It sucked! Nothing can compare to that feeling. But everything happens for a reason, I always say.

Muneca: Sara... I think that you deserved to be there more than a couple of the other girls--it wasn't your time to go. Who do you think should have gone home and why?
Sara: [laughs] Oh! You're backing me into a corner ... who should have gone home? I would have to say Camille, of course, not because I hate the girl, but I wasn't her best friend. And maybe Yoanna because she was up there with me, and she did fall during her choreography. But it was my time to go and I understand that. I think both Yoanna and Camille are going to be fine.

mish: Sara, was Camille really that bad to work with?
Sara: This is my theory on Camille. Everyone has their own personalities, and I just hung out with people who had more my type personality. Camille, to me, was more closed off and reserved. It was hard to work with her at times. Personally, I didn't understand where she was coming from and why she was doing certain things. Sometimes it just made me laugh.

piggy: Sara, who were you closest to in the house?
Sara: I was the closet to Mercedes and April. We bonded very strongly, up unto this point.

keylolo: Do you think April tried to hip check Yoanna off the runway?
Sara: No, I don't think so. I remember that situation; it was basically a confusion of where to go, what side to walk down, and I think she got messed up on what side of the runway to walk down. And it just happened to be on the side Yoanna was on.

FiReDnCr: Did the editing show your true personality?
Sara: Oh, I love editing. Yeah, you have to understand we are taped nonstop. I was a little more vocal than how I was portrayed, but I am very happy with how I was represented. My mom was very happy with how I was represented. But I did have my moments.

Shandilicious: What do you think about the choreographer's comment that you would be a good calendar or swimsuit model? Are you pursuing that? (You should!)
Sara: Sports Illustrated! Not calendar so much, but I want to be in Sports Illustrated! That was my goal since I was 10. Regardless of what they said about men's magazines, I am high-fashion. I love runway, and I hope to someday be in Betsey Johnson's show. Tyra's comment that I can be up there with her and Heidi Klum just kind of outshined everyone else's. That just put a smile on my face.

FAMU: Sara, I didn't agree with last night's decision because Tyra had just commented about how she could see you modeling with her in a Victoria's Secret commercial, and then she voted you out. How did you feel?
Sara: We are not there when the judges deliberate. I didn't hear her comments until last night. Tyra's comments ... I can hear that 20 times a day and it will just make my day each time. But it still sucks to be eliminated.

Kila: They seemed to label you as being too sexy. How do you think that will affect you as you pursue high fashion modeling?
Sara: I have no idea because I have no idea what the industry is looking for. I look at a lot of the ads, and I'm thinking, Victoria's Secret, Betsy Johnson has a lot of sexy runway shows, and Guess ... Those ads use very sexy girls, and that can be considered high fashion. I can go that route if I want. I know I won't be doing any androgynous modeling soon.

piggy: Sara, do you think it's fair that Camille stayed with her bad attitude?
Sara: Well that's the way the cookie crumbles. What can you say? I guess the judges saw something in her that they want to see more of. I'm hearing a lot of that ... Why did Camille stay? I don't think my attitude was that bad. Like Tyra said, the modeling industry likes the sweet models and the divas.

Shandilicious: Are you still in Seattle or are you going to move to NY or LA for your modeling career?
Sara: I'm headed to NYC, the Big Apple, to pursue my career. Or wherever modeling takes me.

Muneca: What was your least favorite thing about your experience on the show... besides being sent home?
Sara: Just being away from my mom. I'm very close with her, and that's tough. You're being scrutinized, and if you're close to someone who gives you reassurance, it's hard not being with them all the time.

Lady: Hi Sara, how do you feel about them saying you have "Bedroom Eyes"?
Sara: [laughs] I think that gave me my own look. That's my look, I have the bedroom eyes. That's just my unique look. I don't mind it because I can't do anything about it, so I might as well use it to my advantage.

piggy: Sara, during your acting why did you stand so far away from the actor? Did you kiss him?
Sara: [laughs] Sara did a really bad job because she didn't know what she was doing. I didn't grasp the concept I was supposed to gaze into his eyes.

Muneca: What did you think about Adrianne when she went to visit you all?
Sara: She is hilarious. I can see me just hanging out with her on a Saturday night. She's just a very cool girl. Very outspoken, but that's what I like about her.

kealoha: Hi Sara, I am sorry that you got booted off! Who do you like better, Camille or Yoanna? And why?
Sara: Oh thank you, that's sweet. Personality wise, I like Yoanna. We connected a little at some points. She's a very interesting but endearing person.

FAMU: Sara did you have fun with the Wu-Tang guys? Was it fun riding in the Hummer Limo?
Sara: [laughs] The Wu-Tang boys were a kick. I don't think we stopped laughing all night. The Hummer limo was so hard to get into, especially in a skirt. But I'm not complaining, it was pimped-out.

Muneca: If you could change one thing while you were on the show... what would it be?
Sara: If I could change one thing, I would have taken six Advil before the dance routine so my knee wasn't throbbing. Because I was in PAIN.

zohra: Sara did you write a note when you left? If yes, what did you write?
Sara: No, I didn't because I couldn't see through my mascara-crying face. I was too distraught.

rose: Are you proud of yourself for doing this and do you have any regrets?
Sara: Absolutely no regrets, and heck yeah, I'm extremely proud. I overcame many obstacles in the course of this.

Lavie: Sara, which one of your pictures do you like the most?
Sara: My favorite was the Steve Madden, and then the hanging one, where I'm suspended in air. Those are my two favorites.

Chrissy427: It seemed that you kept to yourself a lot. Did you find it hard to socialize with the other girls, or was it just that editing didn't show much of you?
Sara: No, I didn't keep to myself as much as it portrayed me. I'm not a loud person to begin with. I'm silly, goofy. I think the cameras picked up more on the cat fights, and I just didn't do too much of that.

gigi: Sara, how did you feel about April being so competitive?
Sara: [laughs] April ... I love the girl, but she's a very competitive woman, and if she sets her mind on something, she's going to do what it takes.

Chrissy427: What was the hardest photo shoot you had to do?
Sara: The underwater one. I mean the picture came out well, but it was very difficult to be under salt water so long and not throw up.

Kila: If there was any one person you could bring back, besides yourself, to be given another chance who would it be, and why?
Sara: Besides me, I would probably bring back Catie. I think the fact that she did cry a lot kind of got to the judges, but it didn't really portray her. She has potential. She kicked butt in the runway competition.

piggy: Sara, did you have any idea that modeling included details such as dancing, acting and personality?
Sara: I did realize that, but I never knew it was so difficult. I understood that modeling takes aspects of different things ... acting, choreography. But I had no idea it was so difficult. That's what makes me so proud of myself, because I did accomplish a lot of that.

darkcandy13: What do you think of Tyra's song and video? Are you still proud to be in that video or do you wish you'd never done it?
Sara: Of course I'm proud of that! Tyra too is venturing into something brand new that people are going to praise and criticize her for, which coincides with what I'm doing. But I love the song.

ANTM_wannabe: What did you think of the judges? And who was your favorite judge?
Sara: The judges, you know, they each have an agenda and know what they want. My favorite judge was Ms. Tyra Banks. But I also liked Jay Manuel, the make-up artist.

Thumper: What was the best piece of career advice you got from the judges?
Sara: Go for your dreams! If you want to be in Sports Illustrated, go for it! If you want to be in Victoria's Secret, go for it! And hearing that from the judges just reinforces how much I want to do that.

ANTM_wannabe: Who's your favorite designer?
Sara: I truly loved Betsey Johnson before I ever met her. She's wacky, her clothes are unique, and she's SEXY! Meeting her just made me love her even more.

Timmy: Of the women who left before you, who were you sorry to see go?
Sara: I was sad to see Catie leave, because we were getting down to six. I was also sorry to see Jenascia leave, because that girl cracks me up. To this day she cracks me up.

maveness: Everyone raved about your beauty, but what's the one thing you wanted everyone to remember you for?
Sara: That's a great question. I think that's my favorite question ... Besides beauty, I would say, mainly my personality. I really have a big heart, and I care for a lot of the girls on the show.

Madonna: Sara did you watch the show last season? Did you have a favorite?
Sara: I watched the show religiously last season! I really liked Kesse because I related to her a lot. Our personalities were similar. She's a sexpot. She's in the new King magazine.

maveness: Everyone has flaws in this competition. Who do you think did the most to overcome their initial flaws?
Sara: I don't I don't think anybody had flaws, I just think everybody needed to be refined. What's that saying? A diamond in the rough.

kat_2: Sara, do you think this experience has given you more drive? I honestly think that the public will be seeing your face again. America loves you.
Sara: Thank you thank you, oh my gosh, thank you. Yes, I am in full-throttle now. I am in the highest gear you can be in. This is my life, and I just want to thank Tyra for the opportunity to make my dreams a reality.

Top Model Host:I am sorry to say that our hour with Sara is up. Sara, thanks so much for being here to chat with us today. Do you have any final comments for the Top Model fans?
Sara: Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your support. I know it was an emotional show, but I do believe everything happens for a reason and God has bigger plans for me. Thank you! Stay tuned!

Top Model Host:Don't miss an exciting new episode next Tuesday at 9:00PM ET/PT. Then come back to www.upn.com/topmodel/ (http://www.upn.com/topmodel/) for another chat next Wednesday afternoon at 2:30PM ET/11:30AM PT to chat with the next eliminated model! See you then!

I really liked her Steve Madden shot, but she looks so confused in her B&W pic.

06-20-2006, 02:17 AM
She should have stayed longer!

It would have been much nicer if the Final 4 was April, Mercedes, Sara and Shandi.

06-20-2006, 11:57 PM
I wish she would have also made final 4 Funky. Would have been an amazing final 4. She's so sexay!

Yeah, more than half :lol

I also added in screencaps of the laundry photoshoot to most of the girls since UPN (when it existed) hadn't posted the close ups and it was a cool shoot (with the makeup and everything)

(ETA: the photog who shot Laundry and C5 vargas girls (Richard Dean) recently died of pancreatic cancer :()

12-14-2007, 10:33 PM
she is a beautiful girl

12-15-2007, 02:06 AM
Indeed, she has Isabeli qualities.
I wish she could separate herself from the ghetto/hip hop scene and whole that skimpy outfits posing. It looks like she's trying too much to look like a skunk.

01-03-2008, 02:56 AM
Yes, those damn slut skunks, whoring up the woodlands. :p

01-03-2008, 03:03 AM
Sara's so stunning. I would've loved to see her make it farther.

I am glad she's back in a big way.

08-20-2008, 07:02 PM
So I was watching the C2 marathon on VH1 today and I'm kicking myself in the ass for ever calling Sara overrated and pedestrian. This girl is so unearthly beautiful. Tyra was spot on when she said that she'd fit right in with the Victoria's Secret girls and hold her own. Her elimination actually made my eyes tear up a bit.

08-20-2008, 07:07 PM
lol, I was just watching that marathon too.

08-20-2008, 07:59 PM
I LOVE Sara! She should have won Cycle 2.

Wiest, I swear to god I was about to make that same exact post. I was even going to mention Tyra's quote about Victoria's Secret. Oh, Wiest. Next time I make a single thought about any NTM show, I'll rush to the computer before you post the same exact thing! Great minds think alike.:callme

New Test Shots

Her appearance on Lipstick Jungle

11-12-2008, 05:40 PM
She looks amazing in that screencap. :smitten

11-12-2008, 05:41 PM
Ugh, I still think Yoanna should have left instead of her :riphair

11-12-2008, 10:55 PM
That bottom two with Yoanna was horrible. Neither truly deserved to go, in my opinion. I would've given Camille the boot.

Those test shots are simply BEAUTIFUL, by the way. Her face is a dream.

That's probably one of the most accurate statements Tyland has ever made on ANTM.

OMG, love her. Her face is so exotic and striking and her body is perfection. my jaw literally dropped at the second to last one.

Ugggghhh, she totally should have made it to Italy over Camille.
